Without registration, a link remains valid for 7 days. With the free Starter account, all links are valid for 30 days, plus 10 links that remain active indefinitely. With the Professional plan, all short links remain valid indefinitely—with an optional expiration setting for time-limited promotions.

It renews automatically. If a link is clicked within the last 7 days before it expires, it is extended for another 7 days. This means that a link that is still actively used practically never expires.

Yes, with the Professional plan. You can change the destination at any time—the short link itself stays the same. That means: If your flyer is already printed and your landing page suddenly moves to a new location, you can simply update the destination. No need to reprint, and no dead QR codes.

Yes, with the Professional plan. You can connect your own domain or subdomain—for example, pastely.eu/abc becomes kurz.your-company.de/abc. Alternatively, you can purchase a suitable domain directly from us, and we’ll set it up automatically.

No. Pastely does not collect any personal data about visitors to your links—no IP logging, no cookies, no advertising profiles. You see anonymized click counts, approximate countries of origin, and time trends. That’s enough to evaluate campaigns, but not enough to identify anyone.

The short link no longer works—visitors who click on it are redirected to a friendly notification page. The QR code you may have already printed will also lead nowhere. That’s why we recommend: If you want to replace a short link, it’s better to change the destination (in the Professional plan) rather than deleting it and creating a new one.

For shortened links to adult or gambling content, a brief warning automatically appears before the redirect. This protects visitors from unexpected content without you having to worry about implementing it. Transparent, unobtrusive, and automatic—on all links, even with the Starter plan.
